Daily Success Yesterday

Success yesterday was not really in the conversation as we spent eight hours either driving or visiting with our broader family at the annual New Year’s Day celebration. My brother and his wife hosted the feast once again and a wonderful time was had by all.

Success Today

Success today requires getting back in the swing of things with Project Pinecone, exercise, and chores. It should include walking to the grocery store and to Nabila’s house to help her with her mail as my weekly Village Volunteer good deed.

“Should” is not the same as “will.” The terrorist attack in New Orleans has changed the Sugar Bowl schedule so that the game is this afternoon. That’s good for exercise and a mess for everything else.

Success in the Future

Success in the future is, as always, about living up to my priorities. San Martín planning has to get rolling in a more serious way. Tomorrow has to skip an NRL luncheon simply because of all the other things that must be done including a Project Pinecone meeting tomorrow afternoon. I would like to get to Cliff’s kaffeeklatsch at the Empress, but that is not looking all that likely at this point.
