Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success January 23 – Disappointing.

Daily Success Yesterday

Success yesterday would have been “failed” without a late effort in the gym to get to the minimum for Disappointing followed by reasonable control of my whisky intake.

The reason for this is simple: too much time on Project Pinecone. Nothing else got any attention, including a Daily Success post. That post, had it been made, would have shown my success as “Failed.”

These two days of terrible results were due to a loss of focus and discipline on my part. The good news, however, is that critical Project Pinecone work got finished at last! The draft SBIR / STTR topics are in Jan’s hands for a quick review, then they go to Lise for her review and comment. The revised Concept of Operations is also on Jan’s desk as of late yesterday. All that stuff is proprietary, so no links.

Success Today

Success today requires better focus on my overall goals rather than having fun with the Project Pinecone engineering work. That is not going to be that easy.

Success in the Future

Success in the future continues to look bright. Stefan has accepted my LinkedIn invitation, which provides an avenue for opening a conversation on the Project Pinecone SBIR / STTR topics. Lise is very engaged in the effort, excited about finding a path forward, and has very solid credentials for doing so.

My two co-hospitaleros for San Martín, Piers and Jacques, seem to be very congenial based on some “how best to get there” email exchanges.

Despite my failings over the last couple days, my stretches and exercise routines seem to be doing the job overall.

Bright. Just work and focus.
