Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success January 25 – Outstanding. Outstanding by the skin of its teeth, but Outstanding and I’m proud of it. I could have moved further into the Outstanding range with some whisky control, but that was not to be. “One war at a time” as I’ve said to Larry.

Yesterday

Yesterday included all the usual “other stuff.” Some SurveyorBot work, lots of email, some misunderstanding on the schedule for Tony’s visit, actually to be this afternoon, not yesterday, and a lot of exercise. My weight yesterday, 168 pounds, was a wakeup call if ever there was one. If I don’t get this under control, I’ll be in real trouble.

The virtual meeting with Larry went pretty well, I think.

Today

Today has nothing special. Monika to start the day at 9:30. Tony will be here to (hopefully) finish my computer switch. Nabila’s mail awaits. Plus exercise and a relatively short list of chores.

Hopefully, I’ll make some good progress on SurveyorBot

The Future

Nothing much changed from yesterday. Larry helping is good for the future. Getting out a bit, Cliff’s group tomorrow, also good. I’ve also begun planning some meetings with the SurveyorBot team while I’m in Texas for the Gathering, and hopefully hospitalero training.

I’ve also started the process of registering for a University of Maryland Global Campus course. That should be good, too.

All hopeful stuff.

Also on the hopeful side, Monika’s massage and laser treatments seem to be helping. The knee is stiff this morning, but the stairs are noticeably easier. Perhaps I’ll start fantasizing about a start from Arles …
