Daily Success June 12 is “Failed,” the first time that evaluation has been necessary. I spent far too much time yesterday luxuriating in being home, reading the Washington Post, relaxing with my wife working on the current puzzle and sitting on the porch, and tracking various addictive Internet trails. Yes, it was a reaction to getting home after a demanding week as the adult leading A’s college tour, but the result is the same. I did not live up to my promise to myself.
The time left until departure is three weeks and three days. My training is behind schedule. I have tons of “real work” to do supporting XArc’s LLP effort completion, preparing for the SurveyorBot work when I return from Spain, and getting the White Paper well along in its development. That means NO, repeat NO, clicking Internet links searching for happy stuff or even luxuriating in reading the WaPo in the morning.
I must get up and get rolling every day if I’m to fulfill the promises I’ve made to myself and others. My success is up to me.
