Daily Success June 22 got to the very bottom of the “Outstanding” range. I’ll take it. It’s not easy.
The big thing for today is that I’ve begun the “which train, which bus” part of my plan for my return to el Camino de Santiago del Norte and the continuation of my Camino Journey that is the motivation behind all of the specific details of how my “Daily Success” scoring system works. The instant I set forth from Cadavedo to Luarca on or about July 9th will be the beginning of savoring my reward for months of disciplined work to make myself able to succeed in continuing my Journey over the ensuing three weeks.
My walking distance is a bit deceiving as most of it was on the treadmill at a 6% grade. The climb of 300 meters or so (about 1,000 feet) makes a 4 kph (2.5 mph) pace an excellent conditioning and calorie burning effort.
I’ll be returning to the SurveyorBot Project Plan effort this afternoon. I’ve got enough data to continue the process of putting guesstimate numbers in for hours and good guesstimates in for schedule tasks and milestones. That work is all the easier as Rey provided some good comments on the initial draft of the Plan. His inputs will fit nicely with the hours and milestones work.
A cool and rainy June day will make supplementing the hike to do my Village volunteer task of retrieving Nabila’s mail this afternoon with treadmill time much more palatable. The XArc telcon this afternoon is a distraction, but I might do that on the treadmill to double my productivity.
¡It will all have been more than worth it!
