Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statueDaily Success June 24 is the middle of the “Very Good” range but could easily have slipped down to “Okay” with three more Internet time-suck site visits. The news of incredibly fast-moving events in this world – a possible coup in Russia, for example – makes that temptation a powerful one, indeed. I must control it today if I am to succeed on other fronts.

Yesterday’s distance was a bit disappointing, but most of it came on the treadmill at a 7% grade. That makes up for it being a bit shorter, at least from the scoring viewpoint, because the climb was an effective 300 meters (1,000 feet) or so.

Much to do today: finish the SurveyorBot project plan so that the effort can run fairly well with me not around; get my gear organized; maybe even finish the My Camino Day post for August 5 2021 post, I’ve at least retrieved it to the “now being edited” status on the website. It’s a great story that I love to tell, but telling it well takes time.

Ah, time. That which I have so little of these days.
