Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statueDaily Success June 25 barely made “Okay.” The main reason was a poor distance walked number, with only a 7% incline for almost all of it keeping it from being a disaster. Too many distractions with the reports out of Russia and too little strength due to a poor night’s sleep on the 23-24th. That led to time lost to a nap, something that was understandable yesterday, but seems to be becoming a regular practice. Not good.

My right shoulder is pretty much back where it was before all the shockwave and laser therapy. It felt so much better for so long that my hopes for a “before I ruined it” shoulder got quite high. Rain (which has been steady for some days) makes it tender, stress on it hurts. The big question is, should I do more of the laser (which seems palliative), shockwave (which seemed to resolve some of the “tearing sensation” but disrupts my strength exercise schedule), both, or neither? Whatever I choose, it will be after returning from Spain on August 16.

Everything else (knees, sciatica, ankle, etc.) seems reasonably quiescent at the moment.

A lot did get accomplished for SurveyorBot yesterday. And many of the weekend chores took time as well. So that’s all part of the system.

Today should be better. The weather looks nice, so some outdoor walking will make getting my distance in simpler with both groceries and paint needed; possibly a walk to the bank as well. Any of those would provide a good foundation for total distance, and combined they would get me near a good score.
