Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statueDaily Success June 3 managed one last “Outstanding” before I leave home, and all my exercise “stuff,” and head west to take grandbaby A on his first college tour tomorrow. Northwestern is the university furthest away. Trine is the most convenient. None are in Ohio.

I’m due for a rest day as noted yesterday. While a week “off” is far too much, it’s not going to be as bad as it sounds. My training backpack and some weights will go along. We will be doing some walking and my plan is to do a bit more just to keep things going. That said, any work on the website is highly unlikely and, while I’ll have this computer with me, even Daily Success posts are going to be catch as catch can.

All my Upper Body and Core stuff was done with minimums across the board. Least items, lower weights. My right shoulder is the only part of me that is happy about that.

Yesterday, again, had a lot of “other stuff” that got done.

The biggest thing, the White Paper, is moving very slowly, but moving at last. That’s good. Progress will be hard this coming week, however, as working on one screen, and the little laptop one at that, is very hard for me.

I also got one last laser session before leaving. Knowing that I’ll be strictly on my own for a week is enough to encourage great care in how I use the shoulder. Monika would say that’s good.

But this is enough. It’s time to roll as there are the proverbial miles to go before I sleep.
