Daily Success June 30 scored in the middle of “Okay.” It could have reached “Very Good” with even the tiniest “Daily Success” post or a single added set of leg strength exercises. The day was just too filled with emergencies, stress, mandatory security training for my Naval Research Laboratory customer, and (finally) exhaustion to achieve either one.
“Do or not do. There is no try.” Today is a new day and I must focus on success.
There were some good things about yesterday. The majority of my distance hiked was outside with an 8 kilogram (about 18 pound) backpack and some elevation change. The rest, all on the treadmill, was at an 8% grade for a solid workout. My legs and lungs were fine with both, although poor air quality outside due to fires in Canada made a mask a good idea and the combination of backpack, climbs, and mask sometimes made repeating the Spanish words, phrases, and sentences from my Wondrium Spanish course a bit challenging.
There was a LOT on the SurveyorBot for bomb detection idea. Today has to begin with finishing that up. No time to waste so this post has to be kept short.
