Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success June 9 – Very Good. Right at the top of the range and within my power to improve on. I didn’t.

Yesterday

Yesterday was a good day with lots of stuff accomplished. Chores, good progress on Poli-Sci, a Daily Success post combined with getting the post from Friday actually uploaded and posted. My stupid.

For all that, I let the day get ahead of me and didn’t do the best I could have. Poli-Sci didn’t get finished and so the posting today will not be eligible for maximum points. And nothing got done on my midterm essay, either. Chores started did not get finished, so today is not as free as might be hoped.

Finally, and this sounds really stupid, the dinner I chose to make (burgers, fresh corn, Caesar salad) turned out too well and I both overate and drank too much whiskey. That left me feeling overfed this morning and probably contributed to a less than ideal night’s sleep. My right shoulder provided more than enough sleep disruption without any help.

Today

Today must include the Poli-Sci Discussion post and real progress on the midterm essay. Otherwise, my progress is in real trouble.

There are chores to finish as well, plenty of that. And exercise and physical therapy.

The Future

The future remains hopeful, but not something to be overconfident about. My walk to Giant yesterday was encouraging as I wasn’t forced to stop to relieve the piriformis syndrome pain until about ¾ mile. But then I had to stop.

Exciting things are happening with the SurveyorBot team that is using GoVentures’ intellectual property. For example, Kārl Šļumba has presented his poster about Cone Penetrometers and Seismic Methods at the European Space Resources Innovation Center (ESRIC).

A plan for dealing with Sam is forming as well. That can be good …
