Daily Success March 1 – Outstanding.
Daily Success Yesterday
Success yesterday was based on the stationary bike and calorie count, but exercise and Project Pinecone got their share. Too much Project Pinecone, once again, but there is so much to do and so little time.
All that noted, exercise included both leg strength and balance, stretches were pretty much the full set, and Spanish got its share of my time. All in all, a good day.
We got some sad news yesterday via a phone call with our eldest son. It seems that one of our granddaughters, who has long been headed in the wrong direction, has now hit what should be rock bottom. It is very sad for us, but there is nothing we can do about it or to mitigate the damage she has done.
Success Today
Success today will be against the headwind of some chores, but nothing excessive. No appointments or social engagements, so the day’s success is up to me.
Focus. Focus on the goals of el Camino, of Project Pinecone, of family.
Success in the Future
Success in the future is a greater challenge for Project Pinecone than it seemed to be a week ago. On one hand, we have momentum and a budding friendship with Rowan University. On the other hand, a brief email exchange with Lyubomyr this week and the chat with Antonios last Wednesday make it clear just how little we have to work with and how tall mountain is that we are working to climb.
Other than that: health is doing better than I have a right to hope for; and Albergue San Martín planning is about to hit high gear with all looking well indeed. Family, well, overall moving every so slowly in the right direction, or so it seems with the exception of one granddaugher.
