Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success March 12 – Disappointing. I just could not get myself rolling.

Yesterday

Yesterday included a long physical therapy session at Dr. Higgins’ office that left my right shoulder very cranky for the rest of the day. Thinking about it, when one includes the drive, it took over two hours out of my day. That, and the unhappy shoulder certainly contributed to my poor performance.

And it was Bill’s birthday, so we convened at Cinco de Mayo a los cinco y media para una fiesta de cumpliaños (a birthday party at 5:30). Any chance at dragging myself to Okay died at that moment.

Today

Today is both easier and much the same. Larry at noon and poker at 7 add challenge. No other interference should keep things doable, however.

That said, I expect to be tired today as I slept poorly due to pain from my right shoulder. All the therapists’ attention to it yesterday left it angry and it made that point repeatedly during the night. I even took my first ibuprofen in almost three weeks in an attempt to ease things up.

But it seems just a hair better today than it was yesterday; reach height and distance.

The Future

The future the warm glow of the future is fading just a tad with the wait for Tim seeming to grow pretty long and some piriformis related difficulty on the treadmill yesterday. I shall keep working the problems as the choices seem to be between that and giving up.
