Daily Success March 20 – Outstanding. I owe it to Judy Collins’ performance at the Shrewsbury Folk festival in 2022. I stayed on the treadmill for at least an extra 10 minutes to watch and listen all the way to the end. Enjoy!

Yesterday

Yesterday was another slow day, but I managed to figure out how to approach posting a bit on the physical challenges for folks “of a certain age” who choose to hike el Camino de Santiago. It will be a most excellent post.

Much of the day was given to exercise and physical therapy. My right arm is better than I have any right to fantasize, so good that it’s confusing the therapists at Dr. Higgins’ office, and I want to continue that progress. Discipline, including knowing when to quit and what limits to stay within, is going to be very important as my impatience is a real and present danger. The “lift no more than five pounds” rule would be far too easy to break by accident.

Today

Today is PT at noon followed by the Zoom conference with Tim and Jon at 3:30. Add in Poli-Sci and some exercise and that will be it.

The Future

The future seems to glow a bit on the horizon. My shoulder is doing so well that I’m already dreaming of physical therapy being over after only two weeks of it. My piriformis problems seem to be easing. Tim and Jon would not be taking an hour to chat this afternoon if they did not see a potential path forward on the Sam front.

It is not hard to see how my mood is lightening, almost by the day. Knock on concrete …
