Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success March 4 – Very Good. A late push on exercise after getting home from the beach was enough to get me a solid score.

Yesterday

Yesterday was the beach and drive home. Or mostly. I did manage to get an email drafted and sent to Tim with some information to support the Sam situation. Now it’s just waiting for him to give me an opinion and tell me how much it will cost to apply a bit of pressure. I must relax.

Chores were important, especially getting my medications set for the next few days with customization for the surgery. No Xarelto, add antibiotic and pain pills, that kind of thing. I discovered that the prednisone supply I’ve got is only half of what I’m supposed to have and have reached out to Elaina.

I did get a good session on the bike and about 0.8 miles on the treadmill. That was all that my piriformis and back were willing to do, however, so it was disappointing. Of course, I should have done stretches yesterday and today … not helping myself.

And I read a (very little) little Poli-Sci.

Today

Today is mostly getting ready for surgery, making sure everything is in place for minimal discomfort the first few days after it’s complete. And exercise and Poli-Sci. And a call to Bruce to discuss how DoD, and specifically DARPA, might view the revelations about Sam.

The Future

Tomorrow begins the future. Surgery should be over around noon. From there it’s up to me to get the rehab done. After that, who knows?
American Pilgrims’ next hospitalero training in in Maine, May 31 through June 2. There is nothing obvious in the way …
