Daily Success March 5 – Outstanding.

Daily Success Yesterday

Success yesterday was based on using the stationary bike to get warm from time to time and an unplanned walk to Giant for some things just before dinner. Lots of calories, but other stretches and exercises got their attention as well. No Spanish practice, however, and no real Camino effort, either. Outstanding by the score sheet, but far from perfect.

Success Today

Success today includes two major Project Pinecone items: the weekly technical Zoom and a chat with Jon on the patent work. Clearly, the patent “stuff” must include more emphasis on the integrated analysis aspects of things based on Antonios comments. That’s both good and bad.

Other than those two Project Pinecone things, there is nothing of note on the schedule. It’s a straightforward “just do it” kind of a day.

Success in the Future

Success in the future continues to look exciting. San Martín is not far in the future; Mae Ling is shortly thereafter; will I see Salvador and Tonia?; how about Julián and Mercedes? So much to look forward to.

And tons of work, too. Project Pinecone is enough for an organization ten times our size.

And tons of worry as well. Will the apparent revival of Smoot Hawley be as effective in 2025 as it was a century or so ago? Can we tank the world economy by not understanding how it works?

I shall do what I can to push things in the right direction and work to find ways to protect my family and myself in the event that worst comes to worse.
