Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success March 8 – Mandatory Rest Day. The good news is that I didn’t sleep all day. I also spent a few minutes on the treadmill to post a modest 250 or so calorie score. The bad news is that my right arm feels like it weighs a hundred pounds, and the shoulder has real motion limits before pain sets in.

Yesterday

Yesterday was extremely quiet. My energy is low, and my right arm does not want to participate in much of anything. I can’t raise it above my shoulder with muscle power alone, an effect I assume is tied to the nerve block anesthetic.

Tim is reviewing things and I’m hopeful that Sam is about to get a very harsh reality check. We shall see.

Today

Today includes (maybe) Cliff’s thing at the Brewery and (definitely) physical therapy at Dr. Higgins operation. Beyond that? Poli-Sci, waiting for word from Tim, exercises here at home.

The Future

The future depends on my right arm and left piriformis. Nothing can be done on the piriformis for a week or two (at least) while the arm calms down from the surgery.
