Daily Success May 28 is a solid “Okay.” It took a late evening walk to get that high as the long drives to and from Selinsgrove yesterday took a huge chunk of the day. Being able to be at the cookout made that entirely worthwhile, however, as we had a great turnout of family folks. Family ranks above even el Camino de Santiago.
Jan continues to work tirelessly on what can be done to help Elijah. The effort that the family is putting in to help him is wonderful.
Today has been a disaster thus far. It is late afternoon. I have not completed my stretches or any of my Upper Body or Leg strength exercises yet. My hiking / walking distance is still at zero. My Daily Success (this) post remains to be uploaded. There has been no time to edit the My Camino Day August 4 2021 post (installing a photo just discovered during my efforts to recover the information in the texts Jan and I exchanged during that month) or to do anything to move the My Camino Day August 5 2021 post along.
This trending to an extremely poor score for tomorrow is due, partially, to getting several chores done. The big one was to get my medications organized for my travels over the next dozen weeks. The good news is that I only have to ask the pharmacy at Giant for advances on two of my prescriptions. One bottle of D3 pills is the only non-prescription need. The total bag of drugs, in their official prescription bottles, will weigh in at over 0.75 kilograms (approaching two pounds)!
Incoming rain was a threat to the upstairs porch so getting that protected became a priority. More time.
No time has been wasted, yet so much remains undone!
