Daily Success May 9 scored Outstanding without having to do a careful memory examination on details. The 10.5 km (6.5 mi) distance gave me a HUGE head start. Most of it, 8.3 km (5.15 mi) was with my backpack and covering some uneven ground on the Muddy Branch Trail. I see a training hike on the Muddy Branch Trail from the Blockhouse Point Conservation Park to home or the other end of the trail in the not too distant future.
The very small fly in the ointment is a sore toe on my right foot. It is only very slightly bothersome, but I’ll focus my walking on the treadmill just in case it gets worse.
A modest time loss for the day is a trip to see Dr. Arenstein, of ENT Care to get wax removed from my right ear. The folks at COSTCO hearing tell me that it is that wax that is causing the feedback on my hearing aid.
Lots to do today, starting with finalizing planning for grandbaby A’s first college trip. All the campus tours are set but we still need two places to stay. Airbnb has been producing some good alternatives there, three nights worked well, so hopefully the same will be true for the last two. Then there’s that remaining accounting.
Hopefully there will also be an hour or two to finish some of the My Camino Day work for my return to el Camino del Norte in August of 2021. We will see.
