Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success May 9 – Failed. It’s a tad more honest than something about injuries (my broken rib continues to be a real limiter), which were a major factor, or exhaustion, which had its oar in the water as well.

Yesterday

Yesterday was a lost day. There was a little fiddling with my new UMGC class and physical therapy at Dr. Higgins’ office, but my lack of motivation was what really limited things.

Tim’s nastygram letter draft arrived. A quick glance at it did not indicate anything I’d change.

Today

Today includes some chores, physical therapy with Monika, and Nabila’s mail. It will be built, however, on a poor foundation: a lousy night’s sleep coupled with begin truly ill in the wee-small hours as a side effect from Tramadol. No more of that stuff!

Have to read Tim’s nastygram draft in detail and comment. My first impression was that he had used my draft and translated sections into legalese. Adds and subtracts did not seem to cut back no any of the points I had tried to make.

Beyond that, Spanish, exercise, physical therapy, and Poli-Sci.

The Future

The future begins with the trip starting tomorrow. I must email all concerned saying “the attempt will be made, but the likelihood of success is well under 100%.
