Daily Success November 17 – Very Good.
Daily Success Yesterday
Success yesterday was again across the board and almost Outstanding, could have been with generous scoring. Everything needful got some attention including exercise, stretches, and Project Pinecone. It could have been better, especially if the Internet Monster had been less successful. And not carefully tracking the Internet Monster is why generous scoring is not justified. I did manage both Rosetta Stone and Great Courses for Spanish, but was so tired by that point that generosity is not justifiable.
Success Today
Success today includes a meeting with Jan to discuss Pinecone activities. She’s got a list and that will be progress in and of itself. The CONOPS revision and extension to include flow charts and block diagrams is under way, but far from complete. At least the general distribution Introduction is now available!
Spanish is an issue. Thus far, it’s been mostly Rosetta Stone with a half hour of practice per day. That’s ok, but the Great Courses material has to be added for explanation of what is going on. Either is good, but both can be powerful. The answer is easy: start earlier! Doing that is hard.
Speaking of hard, the nerve pain in my right shoulder has returned. Lovely. Just lovely.
On the bright side, there is plenty of football today. The Bills, old home town, play the Chiefs, soft spot in my head, at 1 PM so that’s the game. It will be plenty of tie on the bike.
Success in the Future
Success in the future means getting ready for San Martín, finding time to do more on seniorpilgrimage.com, AND meeting my Project Pinecone goals. Discipline is the only hope as this is really more than can be done by one person. Thus, discipline means more effort into outreach to find volunteers, teammates, and (fingers crossed) a Strategic Partner.
