Daily Success November 23 – “Outstanding.” I’ll admit to staying on the bike “just a little longer” to get to that.

It was a good day for exercise, but not for Camino related effort. I started to register for hospitalero training, which I’m certain I qualify for, and discovered that none of the albergues I stayed in are “on the list.” The problem is, clearly, that the list is incomplete and wildly so.

I did a tiny bit, or perhaps a little more, on SurveyorBot, but the big-time suck was entering books into my collection database. It’s kind of mindless, but it was really relaxing, and I enjoyed it. Soon, I will cross the 1,100-book threshold.

Today

Today is Thanksgiving, so Happy Thanksgiving to any and all who might read these ramblings. You are the few, but I hope at least someone reads this from time to time.

The big efforts today are to make some deviled eggs and brussels sprouts for our Thanksgiving feast with our friends Bill and Paula. That should be fun, but the corollary is that exercise and other Camino stuff is likely to be near zero.

The Future

I’m pretty sure that hospitalero training is going to be part of my San Antonio visit in March. I find it interesting that Rey did not honor my request to schedule the review for then but do understand that he’s driving toward the February SurveyorBot deliverable. So it goes.

On the hopeful news front, my back seems to be easing a bit. The day-to-day improvement is so small as to not exist, but week over week there does seem to be progress. Hope springs eternal.
