Daily Success November 27
Daily Success November 27 is “Very Good.” The temptation to rate it as “Outstanding” is strong, but dubious as the Internet Monster was active and I failed myself in not keeping a proper record of my slips. There is also some temptation to add a few points for going through my photos from August 4, 2018 as the foundation for a PowerPoint based video to finish the story begun in My Camino Day August 4 2018. That description of the first part of my first day on el Camino de Santiago del Norte as it leaves Irún for San Sebastian continues to warm my heart, but the rest of the day was filled with many, many misunderstandings of how things work.
But no. I don’t deserve the “Outstanding.”
There was also a LOT of other effort that got things done. Laundry was complete until we got ready for bed. The kitchen was cleaned up, at least in the dishes and stuff put away sense. All of the checks are cut and ready to mail.
Today
Today will be busy. I visit Monika at 10:15 with hope in my heart and some slight progress to report. The tingling is still quite noticeable a lot of the time, but pain seems in remission. Knock on concrete.
The UTSA SurveyorBot Capstone group makes their presentation today if my understanding is correct. I don’t have a way to see it, but I’m hopeful that they are on their way to an “A”.
There are also books to enter into my database, move around, organize the Library for folks to stay there in less than two weeks, OMG! At least all the books are out of the Living Room at this point. But two more boxes are on their way, and I’ve got another order in process with VJ Books.
And today is a good day to get the “reminder invitations” out to everyone about our Holiday Parties.
The Future
A somewhat busy week with medical stuff. Monika today, dentist on Wednesday, an update for Kristin on Friday (just an email). It’s also SurveyorBot busy with the weekly Zoom on Tuesday and the second of a hoped for regular set of meetings with Cody’s group on Wednesday; plus, some Size, Weight, and Power (SWAP) coordination with Arjun and Joe is appropriate sooner rather than later.
Into all that, there is preparation for the first of the two parties, the one on the 9th. Jennifer and her brood will be here, so that’s house guests for several days. Total attendance is guesstimated at 25 and rising. They will all, naturally, congregate in our kitchen while I’m working on the food …
But that part is a worry for later.
