Daily Success October 15 – Okay.
Daily Success Yesterday
Success yesterday included plenty of exercise, two “Daily Success” posts because I had screwed up and not posted the one for the 13th on schedule, a visit with Dr. Swistak (no apparent progress on the phantom pain in my right shoulder yet), and a lot of Project Pinecone.
The Concept of Operations document is coming along nicely at this point. In addition, Jan is making progress on a “selling overview” that makes use of the Funding Plan that is now in draft form.
Yesterday, my phone would not cast my Great Courses Spanish course to the TV in the gym. I gave up much too easily when it also stopped putting the audio into my hearing aids. Scrolling some news was too attractive. That cuts my score from a Very Good to Okay.
Success Today
Success today will be more than a little tricky. I’ve got an appointment at Cardiac Associates in Germantown to get another ticker tracker glued to my chest at 11, there is a Village volunteer appreciation thing at 4:30, and I’m doing Nabila’s mail. This puts exercise in a tricky spot because of working up a sweat (a no-no for the ticker tracker for a period of 24 hours if my memory serves) and showering to be civilized for the in-person stuff.
Stretches, shoulder, and leg exercises should be easy to get done. Calories, not so much.
This will also break up my Project Pinecone efforts. I can feel productivity slipping as I type …
Success in the Future
Success in the future is FOCUS, which has been a problem. Too many excuses, too little time. That said, San Martín approaches.
